This month’s business spotlight shines on the African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida’s very own CPA Heidi Haye! We had a chat with Heidi about the accounting services that she offers.

What is your primary product or service?

Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Bookkeeping, Tax preparation, payroll, and business advice.

What do you think makes Central Florida a special place to do business?

Central Florida is a large metropolitan area with so many opportunities for different industries. We have the population to support so many 
different businesses!

Who is your target market/ audience?

After spending several years assisting large businesses with a national firm, I’m honored to concentrate on small businesses and help them grow and operate like any other large corporation.

In your opinion, what makes Central Florida’s Business community special?

It is amazing to see how many businesses in Central Florida do charitable work. It is not just donating money, but also getting out
and donating time. It speaks to character of the business owners that make up our landscape.

What is the most exciting thing you see happening in your industry?
The accounting industry is embracing leveraging technology to be more efficient and service our clients in more ways than ever before. Small business owners should be able to focus on running the business. I love using these tools and technological advancements to keep their finances in order.

What is the biggest benefit to joining the AACCCF?

Obviously, the referrals. The membership pays for itself. My client base is primarily direct referrals from the Chamber or clients finding me through the Chamber’s website.

Do you have any current promotions that we can promote?

For any parents with children under 22, I am preparing the child’s tax return for $50 when the parent files
their tax return with my office.
