African American Chamber of Commerce & Florida Technical College Business Opportunity Scholarship
FTC and the African American Chamber of Commerce offers one full Scholarship applicable towards tuition and fees for the Bachelor’s Degree program in Business Entrepreneurship, Management and Marketing available online at any FTC campus.
To qualify for the African American Chamber of Commerce & Florida Technical College Business Opportunity Scholarship, a student must meet all of the following criteria:
- At least 18 years of age;
- Highly motivated individuals who can demonstrate:
- Strong commitment to career development
- Strong business idea and implementation plan
- Strong, professional background or academic achievements
- 3 Professional References
- Must submit a video detailing their contributions to the community and how a degree would help further their career.
FTC and the African American Chamber of Commerce will determine the recipient of the Business Opportunity Scholarship by December 11, 2020. The selected recipient will receive a maximum of $56,059.00 up to the amount of tuition and fees charged for the program. The awarded amount will be disbursed per term as follows: up to $5,107.00 for the first term, and up to $4,632.00 for subsequent terms. FTC will not issue refunds to a student as a result of receiving a scholarship. Rather, the amount will be proportionately reduced to avoid a resulting credit balance.

Awards will be based on applying, meeting all qualifying criteria, and a review by a scholarship board consisting of representatives from FTC and the African American Chamber of Commerce. Subject to change. Check catalog for updates.
