Empowerment Business Conference

The AACCCF’s Empowerment Luncheon was designed to engage, enlighten, and empower attendees through a series of inspirational keynote speakers. Past speakers included luminaries from professional sports, the arts, business, and government. In August of 2023, the AACCCF successfully hosted the 4th Annual Empowerment Business Conference presented by Truist at Full Sail University – Full Sail Live. The conference built upon the success of the previous annual business conferences.

Conference attendees learned from respected community leaders and business professionals from various industries. The Empowerment Business Conference’s agenda was crafted to help big and small businesses take advantage of growth and development opportunities in Central Florida. Additionally, the event featured panel discussions, workshop sessions, the Empowerment Luncheon, an in-person networking mixer, free professional headshots, and more! It served as an excellent opportunity for attendees to mix and mingle with business leaders, corporate partners, and entrepreneurs.

Funds raised during the conference were used to assist the Chamber’s mission of being the principal advocate in fostering economic success for African American-owned businesses in the Central Florida community. Furthermore, the proceeds supported workshops, seminars, and programs focused on the Chamber’s four pillars: Advocacy, Access to Capital, Contracts, and Entrepreneur Training and Development for its Chamber members.
